Must Visit Festive Farms!
Fall is here – YAY! This is hands down my FAVORITE SEASON. I don’t know if it’s because I have been spoiled with the perfect weather and gorgeous colors in New England my whole life, but every year I get more and more excited about ways to get festive and enjoy the season.
Top of the list for many… apple picking and exploring cute farms of course! There are so many to choose from so I thought I would share some of my absolutely must visit with you 🙂
Applecrest Farm in Hampton Falls NH – Guys I cannot say enough about this farm! It definitely holds a special place in my heart because it’s located in a cute colonial town. But they offer so much outside of just apple picking. This is a place you can enjoy a whole day outdoors! Yes they have apple picking but they also have live music, food stands, a yummy restaurant, bike races through the orchards, a bakery… and what I think sets it apart is the adorable storybook hayride they put on through the corn fields for kids. This is one you have to check out! It’s pretty close to Portsmouth as well which is full of local boutiques, coffee shops, and more.
Nashoba Valley – Ok this is one that is fun for kids, parents, or a girl’s day out! In addition to apple picking they also have a winery. 😍 Bring a little basket of treats, cheese, and enjoy some local wines with a gorgeous setting. Or book a reservation for brunch at their farm to table restaurant.
Hathaway Farm in Rutland Vermont – This is a little farther north but this place blew me away! First because you haven’t seen fall colors until you have driven through the Green Mountains. No really, I’ve been in New England my whole life, and my jaw hit the floor the first time I made the trip up here. It’s truly stunning! As for the farm -they have one of the best corn mazes in the region, animals, a hayride, games for kids, fun music for adults, and of course apple picking. If you make the trip and it’s a clear day be sure to stay for sunset. With the fields and mountains it was one of the most break taking I have ever seen!
I could keep going but I’m rather than overwhelm you with a huge list I wanted to share the best of the best from my experience so you can get out there 🙂
If you make the trip to any of these be sure to let me know or tag me in your instagram posts. Maybe we’ll be there at the same time!
xo, Nicole
