One of the greatest pains in life is that of wasted potential. And the sad truth is, if you never figure out what you were created to do, you will probably feel a bit lost, stuck, or unfulfilled your whole life.
“When you catch a glimpse of your potential, that is when passion is born”
— Zig Ziglar
After years of research, certifications, and working with clients I’ve come to find these are the three most impactful pillars when it comes to reaching for your full potential in life.
1. Find the things that if you don’t do them, you feel off in life.
This is your secret sauce. In simple terms, find and commit to the habits that strengthen and bring out the best of you.
Whether or not you’re aware of it, your life and the direction of it is ultimately the culmination of your habits. The little things that you do or don’t do each day will lead you down a certain path in life.
If you’re not intentional, these little things, that might seem so insignificant in the moment, can limit or lead you astray in life.
The first secret to unlocking your full potential is discovering the habits that make you feel like you have superpowers and making them daily non-negotiables in your life. If you need help with this check out my Habits for Higher Level Living. It’s an online course where I share habits that are personal game changers for thriving in life.
2. Live your authentic truth.
We are all created with special gifts, skills, traits, and characteristics that are unique to us. A key component to reaching your full potential is knowing what these unique skills, strengths, and talents are so you can use them in your life and to better the world.
When you let go of who you think you should be and take time to discover and embrace who you really are… that’s when the path to your full potential becomes more clear.
If you’re struggling with what your authentic truth or special gifts are you should definitely check out my Clarify your Calling Course or connect with me for personalized coaching.
3. Commit to continuous growth
Unfortunately, most people think growth will just happen. We’re programmed to believe this as we grow up. When we’re young our parents teach us, then we go to school and a growth plan is created for us up through our 20s. But then what?
You will only reach levels you allow yourself to grow to in life. Discovering your strengths and having a vision for your future only takes you so far. You need to cultivate those things through personal growth.
At the very least read or listen to something for at least 10 minutes a day that elevates you. That alone will give you a boost and change the trajectory of your life.
But to reach your full potential you will want to create your own personal growth plan for all areas of your life. If you need help with this, that’s where working with a coach comes in. Feel free to book complimentary consult call with me at the link below if you want to explore this more.
In the meantime here is a post with some books to get started on your own and a free challenge with daily activities that will elevate and energize you in the pursuit of your very best life.
Here’s to your momentous growth,
