Cinnamon
A healthy sprinkle of cinnamon in your morning oatmeal, yogurt, or over some butternut squash will add a nutritious kick and can be a great way to replace added sugars for flavor. Extracts from the bark of the cinnamon tree have been used traditionally as medicine throughout the world. It can lower blood sugar levels, reduce heart disease risk factors and has a plethora of other impressive health benefits.
