Thanksgiving is the perfect holiday to practice and cultivate gratitude with your loved ones. With heaps of delicious foods, gifts, and everyone in high spirits, it can be easy to see and be grateful for all the positive things in your life.
But what about when Thanksgiving is over and the stress from work comes creeping back in? You fall back into a daily routine of worrying about money, relationships, and everything else that doesn’t seem to be going your way.
Practicing gratitude shouldn’t be limited to just one day. It’s most powerful when you make it a daily habit.
Life doesn’t always go to plan and there will be days that are better than others. Our brains love to hold on to negative thoughts and limitations. However, the power of gratitude can shift your mindset into a more positive mindset by cultivating a sense of appreciation, happiness, and thankfulness.
Worry and gratitude can not exist simultaneously. Make it a habit to reflect on what you are grateful for anytime you feel fear or worry creep in and you will experience more overall joy in your life.

HOW TO PRACTICE GRATITUDE
There are many ways to cultivate gratitude and appreciation. The most tried and perfected ways are to keep a gratitude journal. This writing exercise encourages you to write down 3-5 things you are grateful for. This can be practiced in the morning before you start your day, or just before bed in the evening.
With your gratitude list, practice meditating for 2-5 minutes on the things that you have written down. Breathe deeply and visualize the things/people/scenarios you are grateful for and give thanks for being able to have these things in your life.
Having a gratitude practice in your morning or bedtime routine can completely change your life within days!
Need support in taking your gratitude habits to the next level? Are you ready for a positive, grateful mindset that will take you places beyond your wildest dreams? You have it within you to achieve everything you want in life.
Developing healthy, positive habits for higher-level living can get you there.
