Happiness…it’s what we’re all after.. What makes life worthwhile, am I right?
But why does it have to feel like such a struggle sometimes?
Believe it or not, it actually makes no logical sense that I have never faced full on depression or completely derailed in life. No really… it’s actually something my doctors, therapists, and personal coaches have all told me.
Despite a life of being knocked down, having all odds against me, and trauma after trauma… I’ve been able to persevere through with a positive outlook, been able to get ahead of relentless adversity, and still truly enjoy my life.
I don’t share this to brag or pat myself on the back. I’m sharing it because over the years I have figured out ways to make my happiness a priority regardless of what curve balls have come my way.
And today I’m here to tell you that regardless of what you’re up against… HAPPINESS IS POSSIBLE FOR YOU.
To kick things off, the first thing I want you to know is that
Happiness is a Choice. It’s something we Choose.
I know this might be hard to wrap your head around if you are in a rut or tough place right now… but please trust me and accept it as a truth for yourself.
We all go through waves of ups and downs in life. And if we give them the power, those downs have the ability to completely derail us and keep us down.
They cloud our judgement, make us feel insignificant, depressed, and stuck. Which is why we need to take personal responsibility for giving more attention to the ups. To channeling our energy into the things that will lift us back up.
Today I’m going to walk you through some ways you can do just that.
I’m going to give you proven ways to lift yourself back up and continuously choose happiness regardless of what life throws your way.
Know it only takes a few simple shifts in your daily habits and awareness to live with more energy, confidence, passion, peace, and overall happiness.
I’ve done the research, I’ve tested it in my own life, in the lives of hundreds of my clients.. and I promise when practiced over time… these daily actions I’m about to share (which are SO EASY TO DO)… will not only bring you more happiness but they’ll transform your life.
Some foundational secrets to happiness.
- Be your own best friend – be conscious of your self talk
- Nourish your body- be proactive with your health through food, exercise, and self care
- Have a morning Ritual- make time for you before you make time for everyone else
- Soothe your soul- find time to connect to yourself
- Practice gratitude – a foundational building block for a positive mindset
- Keep your frequency High – be proactive with what you fill your mind with
- Make it an adventure – make it a priority to do more of the things that make you feel alive
This is an easy to follow recipe for cultivating more happiness in your life. I hope this will spark a fire within you and help you realize happiness is a choice, and it can be cultivated with small little actions over time.
